God loves you.
In the beginning, God made everyone to walk by faith. We were whole: body and mind and Spirit. Because we kept God’s Spirit, we were in God. That’s how God saw us. And this would be our reality forever.
But, at the Tree, God’s enemy got everyone to walk by sight. Now we were broken, just an empty form: body and mind but without Spirit. Because we gave up God’s Spirit, we were now without God. That’s how God saw us. And this would be our reality forever—until we died at the end of the world with God’s enemy.
But God!—God didn’t want us to die and made a way for everyone to walk by faith again.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son’s life for ours so that everyone who believed in him again by receiving and keeping His Spirit, should not perish after all but have everlasting life. That’s how God sees it.
And those who remain in Him until the end, by obedience to His will, will be saved. While those without Him will perish after all.
The LORD God is on a mission to get us to stop letting go of His Gift—because we need His Spirit to live.
