WHY YOU?

Because It’s Time To Live Again

The path to understanding your “Why?” begins in Eden.

You have a story.

I have one too.

Mine led me through questions
I never thought I’d ask—eventually to answers
I never knew I’d need. It’s what inspired
this little boutique.

But it wasn’t the pillow, the card, the book,
or the wall art that brought you here.

Something in that question did.

Maybe because everyone’s seeking
understanding of life’s deeper questions:

Why did I do it
Why did it happen to me?
It was real.
It was horrible.
It was wrong.

Why this story?
Why these longings?
Why these struggles?

Though we may not know each other, if pain brought you here, I’m so, so very sorry that you—or someone you loved—were hurt, or for the pain that you now realize you caused.

It should have never happened.

Yet still, the question remains:
Why you?

Can I tell you why?

Whether you came out of curiosity or because of pain, beneath your story lies a greater one that began in Eden—the key to understanding your “Why?”, what it all means, and how to live again.

This isn’t a dismissal of your pain.
This is an invitation.

What if everything that brought you
here—every question, every hurt,
every longing—has been
leading you here:

learning how to live…
and then doing it.

Living again.

Your life is a gift.
And with His understanding,
your life shines.

Whether you’re a man or a woman…
whether you believe in God, think you know God (or even think you’re God), feel disappointed in Him, angry at Him, afraid of Him — don’t believe in God, don’t care, or just hate God —

if life hasn’t turned out the way you imagined
or even if it has—until it’s quiet and something’s still missing…

have you tried hearing God for yourself?

He has a story, too.

There's a simple way to understand God: just hear Him.

It’s easy to hear God.

We hear His voice in the ocean’s mighty waves,
in the trees’ rustling leaves,
in the birds’ gentle songs, and
in His pure words, altogether lovely.

The Creator is always speaking.

But when it comes to His words,
people have complicated them.

An ancient lie started all the confusion.
But understanding this one key distinction
restores clarity:

God’s thoughts are His.
Man’s thoughts are man’s.

From God’s perspective,
they’re not the same—
they’re different.

See, God has His own perspective,
His own knowledge,
His own wisdom,
His own understanding, and
His own definitions.

And each of us has our own.

But from God’s perspective,
ours are human.
His are divine.

They’re different.

A lot of people are confused,
angry, or don’t believe in God because
they—or someone they trusted—heard
or read His words but
confused
human understanding with
God’s understanding
, and
human definitions with
God’s definitions
.

Or, instead of hearing Him for themselves,
they just believed what they heard
or assumed things about Him.

But there’s a simple fix.

When it comes to hearing
and understanding God’s perspective:
let His word interpret itself.
Let Him say what He means.
Just hear Him.

If we let His words speak for
themselves and define themselves
,
we’ll discover that there is no word
like the Word of God. He is the way.
His words are truth and life.
It is not without Him but in Him we live,
in His Word we move, and in Him we
have our being.

He is the Author and His chosen
messengers are ordinary
men and women
to whom He has
revealed Himself and through whom
He has shared His perspective.

Of ourselves,
we hear from our human perspective.
But with God,
we hear from His divine perspective.

Confuse the two perspectives
and you’ll remain confused,
on the outside, missing the
wholeness—the aha!—that
was taken from you
.

Respect the two—
hear and keep His Word—and
you’ll be grateful, amazed, humbled,
and overwhelmed with joy to know
a God so good, so patient, so very
tender, forgiving, and kind.

Don’t be so hard on God.
Or yourself.

He wants to answer your questions.
And He longs to be understood.

Allowing the Word to lead back to that good way—and to a life far better than you deserve

You know that helpless feeling?
Being misjudged and shunned
by people you love
?”
You’re right there but
they don’t or they won’t check with you
to see if what they heard was true—
they lean on their own understanding
instead and just believe it.

This is where God is—and, as Creator,
He knows where that thinking came from,
He knows where it leads,
He knows what’s at stake, and
He doesn’t want that for us.

Maybe you’ve never heard of
the universal trial—the case against God.

It’s the longest trial in history—and
the most consequential for every human life:

The Word of the Created v. The Word of the Creator.

Every day we answer its central question:

Who gets to say so?

The Creator?
The created?
Or both?

Not surprising—if you’ve never heard of it.
Keeping people in the dark
helps the Accuser
silently
gather more people for his battle.

But, with you, darkness doesn’t have to win.
Because darkness is still no match for the
all-powerful Word that, in the beginning, said:
“Let there be light: and there was light.”

And because He loves you, and
made you, and because of
your great need, the Creator
keeps sending His Word
.

With God, it’s still all about His Word.
He remains passionate about His Word.
He, His Word, and His Power—
they’re inseparable.

Let His Word fight for Him.
Let His Word fight for you.
Just hear Him.

You may be where you are because
you, or someone you trusted,
assumed things about God—instead
of hearing Him for yourself.

Or maybe you’ve wanted to—
but just didn’t know how to hear.

If you’ve never heard God’s side
of the story
—for yourself—start there.
It starts by hearing. Not believing,
not confessing—just hearing Him.

You can understand God’s word—for yourself.
Ask Him to help you want to hear Him,
to be open to seeing through His eyes
and hearing His perspective
.
Allow Him to define His own words—
and the path will shine “more
and more unto the perfect day.”

God hears you.
God sees you.
And He loves you.

Keep hearing Him. Keep going.
You’re already on your way back
to that better-than-you-deserve life!
